So, I've been slowly easing in to a 100% fruit and veggie fast the past 7 days. It's something I've attempted to do for years but never could seem to make it past day 2 at the most. Maybe jumping in feet first was not the best approach, but hey, I like to throw caution to the wind sometimes lol. Well, I can definitely attribute my inability to succeed to poor planning, doing too much too fast, and not having the time to rest while the body is doing its thing. Today I'm 100% ready. I'm all stocked and ready to go, I'm in fairly good health (these knees and fatigue beg to differ), and I've spent the past week building up to this day (I've got the detox headaches to prove it). What I hope to accomplish? whole body wellness, energy, and reduction in knee, hip, and back pain. How much juice will I be consuming daily? I have been doing great on four 18 oz juices a day but I am not opposed to adding more if need be. Simply, I plan to drink when I'm hungry and stop when I'm satiated. Lastly, I hope to drop this Covid weight but I have no plans of stepping on the scale. I may post a before and after selfie to show the difference though. How long am I attempting this fast? I don't know to be honest. I'll let my body decide. My goal is to do a daily update but I won't commit to that because I know some days I won't feel like it but I will try to make at least 3 posts per week with my progress, struggles, my emotional state, detox symptoms etc. I don't expect this to be easy but I hope to enjoy the journey. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I will be doing about 30 min cardio on my stair climber daily depending on my energy levels. Drop a line to keep me encouraged from time to time.
